Forum details and step by step guide
The majority of our forums are locked and only viewable by members of TVT ( www.thamesvalleytriathletes.co.uk ) that have completed the forum registration process. To view any messages here you need to register and log in to the forums. The 'General (Public)' and 'Classified (Public)' are the only sections viewable to the outside world so please post any public messages here. Visitors can post messages in the 'General (Public)' section without registering for the forums. Below is a very basic step by step guide to the forums: PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS OF TVT - www.thamesvalleytriathletes.co.uk To Register 1. Choose a username, enter your email address and choose a password. The rest can be left as it is. Click submit. 3. You will then need to wait for an approval email from me. Type a subject title, and your message then click 'submit' 5. done To view and reply to a message 1. Click on the section title you wish to view eg 'General' 4. Click on the subject you wish to view 5. Scroll down the page to read all messages. There may also be a page 2, 3 etc which you can get to at the bottom of the screen. The most recent message is always the last message in the thread. 6. To respond, click 'post reply' 7. Type a subject title, and your message then click 'submit' 8. done Other tips 1. you can edit and delete any previous messages you post whilst logged in 2. You can send people private messages (PM) via the forums. They will be notified via email to go and check their forum inbox. 3. You can modify your own profile at any time (top right hand corner) 4. when logged in you can click 'view posts since last visit' to see what's new and to save you clicking through each section (button just above main forum box) 5. You can set the forums to notify you whenever someone replies to a topic you have created. Click on 'profile' near the top of the page. Scroll through the profile and click yes on 'Always notify me of replies', click submit.
